The peak height could range from 3′-6′ higher than the leg height you chose depending on the “roof style” and width of your structure.
The concrete slab should be a minimum of 6” larger each side and end than the overall unit size. The length of the base rail is always 6″ shorter on each end or overall 1′ shorter than the roof line of the structure. For example: If you order a 12′ x 21′ carport, the foot print is 12′ x 20′ So your concrete would need to be poured at 12′ 6″ x 20′ 6″
We can Install up to 12′ leg height standard and special engineered 13′ & 14’ leg heights. (Be sure to discuss the leg heights you require with your sales consultant)
The standard “roof pitch” is approximately a 3/12 pitch. This roof pitch will vary a little depending on the width of your carport, building or garage.

No! We offer mobile home or screw anchors and asphalt anchors that can be certified for installation on dirt, gravel or asphalt.
All “Non-Certified” carports have rebar pin anchors for ground installations. If you choose, you can upgrade to mobile home anchors for ground or asphalt anchors for an additional charge. If the structure is going on slab, footing or stem wall we will use concrete wedge anchor bolts to secure the structure. If you choose to have a Certified carport, building or garage on the ground, you will need to purchase mobile home anchors. Our engineers will determine how many anchors you will need to meet your areas wind and/or snow loads.
Yes. In most areas. Check with your sales consultant about the discounted rate on your order. We will drop off the materials needed and also send detailed instructions to help you through the installation process. (Be sure to ask if your area qualifies for a “drop off only”)
Yes, but there will be a return trip delivery fee for options under $1000. Our sales consultant will be sure to go over these options before you order.
Although we prefer the ground to be perfectly level, our installers can adjust the legs up or down 2”-3” at the bottom on the base rail if the ground is a bit un-level. We do ask that your ground be level before our installers show up on the day of your installation.
It takes anywhere from 3-5 weeks depending on where you are located and the size of the structure. We work very hard to get your order built and installed at your location as soon as possible.
